Growing up I spent hours in the woods imaging fantastical worlds inspired by the forest! I feel a deep connection to animals and love exploring the natural world; I endeavor to capture the magic of both in my art!  My love of art and stories led me to study sequential art and pursue creative careers; and my love of nature and animals informs the work I make today. Historically, I have been pulled to focus on animals - with an interest in capturing their playful personalities and quirks; and recently I have been drawn to mossy stumps, twisting roots and amazing mushrooms!
